弔意
突然の訃報に驚きました．．．
9月23日、ラーメン店「Japanese Soba Noodles 蔦」のオーナーである大西祐貴さんが急逝しました。
蔦は世界初ミシュラン1つ星を獲得したラーメン店です。大西さんはメディアでも度々取り上げられ、ラーメン界では超が付くほどの有名人。
じふりはミシュランの星獲得で話題になっていた黒トリュフオイルを浮かべたラーメンがどうしても食べたくて、その当時、巣鴨にあった蔦に行きました。
もうビビるくらいの大行列！！今まで行ったラーメン店の中でも一番やばかった。たしか、3時間くらい並んだと思います。
黒トリュフオイルの醤油ラーメンはとても美味しかったです。黒トリュフなんて味わったことなかったので、「これがあの高級な黒トリュフか～」「セレブだぜ～」「これで立派な大人の仲間入りだな」なんて思いながら、よくわからずに食べていました。
ラーメン自体は無化調なのに旨味たっぷりで、鶏の出汁がかなり強く、ほのかな甘みも感じられる全部飲めちゃう系のスープでした。貴重な青森シャモロックのスープなんで完飲完食です。
その後、店舗は代々木上原に移転。また、ラーメン食べ歩きを再開した時には必ず行こうと思っています。
大西さんは海外進出の時にお弟子さんにお店を任せていた時期もあったので、大西さんの味はお弟子さんに受け継がれていますし、今後も変わらない蔦のラーメンが食べられるでしょう。
去年、ちばからの店主さんが亡くなった時にも思いましたが、こういうことがあると、そのお店で食べたラーメンの記憶が鮮明に蘇ります。記憶に残るくらい美味しいラーメンだったということでしょうけどね。
